Experience some of the cornerstones that underpin RADA's actor training with one (or more) of these detailed and fun workshop days, for 16-18 year-olds
Choose a day of classes from the following options: Movement, Voice, Acting Techniques, Text, or Devising. Or why not make your own mini course over several days?
Whatever your level of experience, this is an opportunity to work with RADA's expert tutors and explore some of the fundamental areas of actor training.

Who are these workshops suitable for?
Young people aged 16–18 who may not have any prior experience
Those who wish to learn more about Shakespeare, devising, improvisation or contemporary text.
Those wanting to develop their movement, voice, confidence and stage presence.
Please note, our courses do not offer explicit or direct advice on audition technique for drama school entry.
Entry requirements
There is no selection process for this course, if you feel this course is suitable for you and have read all the information on this webpage, then please proceed to booking.
Participants must be aged 16-18 and have fluent, confident use and knowledge of the English language.
Voice
Find your voice and grow in confidence as a storyteller. This workshop day will introduce you to vocal techniques and exercises to help you communicate clearly and make your voice heard.
Movement
Use different movement exercises to take a physical approach to telling a story and explore how movement and physical expression can enable you to inhabit a character.
Acting Technique
Learn some of the techniques actors use to create powerful connections with a character, using the core methodologies taught at RADA.
Text and Scene Study
Take a script from the page and up onto its feet using scene study techniques to help you confidently analyse classical texts and communicate their meanings.
Devising
Discover the power of creative collaboration and improvisation as you explore a variety of storytelling techniques to create original scripted work.
